WHO WE ARE
Diaconía Nacional Es el brazo Social de la Iglesia Cristiana Reformada de Honduras fue creada en el año de 1986, con patrimonio y duración indefinida. Legalmente estamos amparados bajo la personería jurídica según resolución N.31, otorgada por el gobierno de Honduras a través de la Secretaría de Estado en los despachos de gobernación y Justicia el 19 de agosto de 1974 a favor de las iglesias Cristiana Reformada de Honduras.

National Diaconia is the social arm of the Christian Reformed Church of Honduras. It was created in 1986 with independent assets and indefinite duration. We are a legal entity according to Resolution No. 31, granted by the government of Honduras through the Secretary of State in the offices of Governance and Justice August 19, 1974 for the benefit of the Christian Reformed Churches of Honduras.

We are the social arm of the Christian Reformed Church. We demonstrate God’s love through the development of programs and projects that promote an integral change in the lives of the people and community where there exists a Christian Reformed Church.

QUE HACEMOS WHAT WE DO Diaconia Nacional contribuye al desarrollo sostenible del país a través de sus programas que promueven el desarrollo humano. National Diaconia contributes to the country’s sustainable development through its programs that promote human development. CAPACITACION ECLESIASTICA REFORMADA (CER). REFORMED ECCLESIASTICAL TRAINING (RET) Este programa esta orientado a la Formación de Lideres y Diáconos de la Iglesia Cristiana Reformada a través de la capacitación Eclesiástica y Desarrollo Comunitario para que sean protagonistas de un servicio integral en la iglesia y comunidad This program is oriented toward the formation of leaders and deacons in the Christian Reformed Church through ecclesiastical training and community development so that participants become protagonists in integral service in the church and community.

SALUD Health Brindamos capacitación a madres y lideres comunitarios sobre salud preventiva, formación Cristiana y desarrollo comunitario Su objetivo principal es atender a niños menores de 6 años en control de peso, desparacitación, vitamina y nutrición We offer training to mothers and community leaders on disease prevention, Christian formation and community development. This program’s principle objective is to attend to children under six years of age in the areas of weight control, parasite elimination and nutrition. MEDIO AMBIENTE ENVIRONMENT Capacitar hombres, mujeres y niños sobre el cuidado y protección del medio ambiente. Brindamos asesoria técnica a los agricultores para mejorar su productividad, siembra de huertos familiares y reforestación. Within this program, men, women and children are trained in the care and protection of the environment. We offer technical assistance to farmers so that they can increase productivity, plant family orchards and practice reforestation. MICROCREDITOS MICROCREDIT Brindamos atención a hombres y mujeres emprendedores de negocios con el fin de estimularlos a la creación de microempresas fomentar el autoempleo y la independencia económica We stimulate micro business creation among men and women entrepreneurs, which promotes self-employment and economic independence. VIVIENDA HOUSING Contribuimos a reducir el déficit habitacional a través del financiamiento en materiales para construcción de Viviendas a aquellas familias que no tienen acceso a un sistema formal financiero. We contribute to reducing the housing deficit through financing the purchase of construction materials for those families that lack access to formal credit services.

AGUA POTABLE POTABLE WATER Nuestro objetivo es que las familias de las comunidades cuenten con un sistema de agua el cual es vital para la vida. Estos proyectos se realizan en coordinación con grupos voluntarios de Universidades de Estados Unidos, el Canadá y la participación activa de los miembros de la comunidad Our objective is that families in the communities have a water system, which a vital necessity for living. These projects are carried out in coordination with groups of volunteers from universities in the United States and Canada and with the active participation of community members.
